What is Melasma? Melasma is a skin discoloration that tends to impinge on women caused by too much melanin production. Melasma onset of symptoms can be characterized by brownish pigmentation or patches formed on areas of the face, neck, or on the forearm. Actually, the main cause of the appearance of melasma is unknown.
